When the large intestine (bowel) is under active, toxic waste is more likely to be absorbed through the bowel wall into the bloodstream.  Colonic can help here.  These toxins are then circulated via the bloodstream to every part of the body and some of them are deposited in tissues, the highest accumulation being deposited into constitutionally weaker tissues.
